Waypacker is a safety-first travel platform connecting ID-verified hosts and travelers. Whether you use the website or the mobile app, there is one place to reach a human:
We read every message and aim to reply within two business days. Please write from the email address on your Waypacker account where you can — it is how we confirm a request about an account actually comes from the person who owns it.
Trouble signing in, a confirmation email that never arrived, changing your email address, or anything else that stops you getting into your account. Email us about your account.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Waypacker is not an emergency service and we cannot respond in real time.
To report a user, a listing, a meetup, or a message — harassment, a safety concern, a suspected fake account, or anything that breaks our Terms of Service — you can use the in-app report button on any profile, listing, or meetup, or email a safety report. Safety reports go to the front of the queue.
Questions about becoming a host, what a listing may and may not show, or an identity verification that was rejected or is still pending. Email us about hosting or verification.
Verification documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are only ever used to confirm your identity — see the Privacy Policy for exactly how they are handled.
You can delete your account yourself at any time: open Account settings in the app or on the web and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, listings, messages, trips, and any verification documents you submitted.
If you cannot reach that screen — for example because you are locked out — email us to request deletion and we will handle it for you.
To request a copy of your data, or a correction to it, email us with the subject Data request. What we collect and why is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
